This year's show features Shirley King, daughter of BB King, Peaches Staten, Ivy Ford, Liz Mandeville, Tracee Adams, Countess Williams, Donna Herula, Jeannie Tanner, Ms. Trysh, Dia Madden, and Ellen Miller,

High-energy blues is the focus here, with lot of great instrumental prowess as well. Joan Gand has played the piano since the age of five, and grew up going to blues and jazz clubs with her parents in the Chicago area. While performing in blues bands in her teens, she met her future husband, guitarist Gary Gand. They joined forces “for life” and have been making exciting music ever since. The Gands also run a music business in Chicago providing sound system installation, concert sound rentals, and production services. The husband and wife team perform together in several bands including the Gand Band.

The touring group of Chicago Women in the Blues includes a selected roster of performers from the festivals in Chicago.
